DMCA notices for gallery only or also for forums ?

i'm wondering if this message posted by "root" on the updates page has significance for us here on the forums?

The Kate Upton and Jennifer Lawrence galleries are gone. So there are two of them.

The DMCA notices wouldn't have an effect on the forums, unless those pics were also posted here as attachments, I'd assume.

Received over 10 Dmca and removed the content and replyed to the emails
