As those who follow my postings here, I rather enjoy side boobs. But another area of enjoyment is some good girl-girl action. This appreciation thread will follow celebrity girl-girl kissing, either in real life public, in movies, or on television. Rather than just pics, I will provide details such as names of those involved and what movie/show that the kissing scene took place. I would encourage others posting to provide the same information.

We all remember the infamous two-for-one at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards where Madonna gave lip service to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Personally, I think the mouth-to-mouth somewhat helped resuscitate Madonna and Christina's careers, not so much Britney's. (previews hotlink to larger image on Imgur)

But 3 years before the Madonna-Britney-Christina threesome, here's Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar at the 2000 MTV Movie Awards. More of a peck than the tongue bath that Britney gives Madonna but a kiss is a kiss is a kiss. They shared a nicer one backstage. They won the kissing award that year for their scene on "Cruel Intentions" as shown below. The movie was okay, but as you can see, the kissing scene was superb. Okay, today, we will look at some television shows with girl-girl kissing scenes, covering Grey's Anatomy, 90210, Being Erica, Ally Mcbeal, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

First up is Sara Ramirez who plays Dr. Callie Torres and Brooke Smith as Dr. Erica Hahn from "Grey's Anatomy", episodes 4x16 & 4x17 season finale.

As we know, Brooke was fired from the show, and replaced with Jessica Capshaw as Callie's new love interest, Dr. Arizona Robbins.

Jessica Lowndes ("Adrianna") and Rumer Willis ("Gia") star in the CW version of 90210. They enjoy some public lip locking in school in season 2 episodes 17/18.

Erin Karpluk ("Erica") and Anna Silk ("Cassidy") star in the Canadian TV Series "Being Erica". In a flashback on season 1 episode 9 called "Collide", Erica looks back 10 years at her relationship with Cassidy. It's rather unfortunate that the writers chose not to bring "Cassidy" back beyond this one episode, because Anna Silk is a hottie.

Calista Flockhart isn't my favourite actress, but Lucy Liu rocks, so we can't forget another memorable television show scene from "Ally Mcbeal" season 3 episode 2 "Buried Pleasures".

Finally we have Alyson Hannigan ("Willow") and Amber Benson ("Tara") enjoying each other between kicking undead butt in Season 2 episode 6 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Today's post is dedicated to Xena: Warrior Princess.

What can we say? There is definitely a growing romantic and sexual attraction between Xena (Lucy Lawless) and Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) as their adventures progressed. And we were all better for it. Of course, many a fan fiction author has expanded on this. Alrighty, onto some movies now. Some of these are single scene kisses ("Under the Tuscan Sun"), while others are just one of many within the entire movie ("My Summer of Love"). I choose these based on a combination of the actresses involved, the kiss within the scene, and the kiss as part of the movie.

"Vicky Cristina Barcelona" is a 2008 romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Woody Allen. The plot centers on two American women, Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlett Johansson), who spend a summer in Barcelona where they meet an artist, Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem), who is attracted to both of them while still enamored of his mentally and emotionally unstable ex-wife María Elena (Penélope Cruz). Cruz won the 2009 Best Support Actress Oscar for her role. This is not the same as Selma Blair/Sarah Michelle Gellar in "Cruel Intentions" I posted above (one of my top 5), but I am posting because it involves Scarlett Johansson.

"Under the Tuscan Sun" is a 2003 American romantic comedy drama film written, produced, and directed by Audrey Wells and starring Diane Lane. In the kissing scene, Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh meet Diane Lane's character for lunch. This is a chick flick, but Diane Lane is in it (even though she's not the one doing the kissing). I'll watch anything with Diane Lane.

Thirteen is a 2003 semi-autobiographical American drama film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, and written by Hardwicke and Nikki Reed based on events in Reed's life at age twelve and thirteen. Nikki Reed "Evie Zamora" and Evan Rachel Wood "Tracy Freeland" star. Evie, the school's popular girl, leads Tracy, a straight A student, down a path of sex, drugs and petty crime.

Emily Blunt (Tamsin) and Natalie Press (Mona) from the 2004 movie "My Summer of Love". A tale of obsession and deception, and the struggle for love and faith in a world where both seem impossible. The film charts the emotional and physical hothouse effects that bloom one summer for two young women: Mona, behind a spiky exterior, hides an untapped intelligence and a yearning for something beyond the emptiness of her daily life; Tamsin is well-educated, spoiled and cynical. Complete opposites, each is wary of the other's differences when they first meet, but this coolness soon melts into mutual fascination, amusement and attraction. Adding volatility is Mona's older brother Phil, who has renounced his criminal past for religious fervor - which he tries to impose upon his sister. Mona, however, is experiencing her own rapture. "We must never be parted," Tamsin intones to Mona but can Mona completely trust her?

Today is Alyssa Milano day, just because. If you were a teen in the 80's, you watched "Who's the Boss" to watch Alyssa. Then you skipped her in the 90s, because yeah, she did movies, and had television shows, but there were other hot women to lust. But we found her again on "Charmed" in the 2000s, older, hotter and turning into a MILF.

Anyways, Alyssa did a forgettable vampire flick in 1995 called "Embrace of the Vampire", that I think was her attempt at shedding her good girl "Who's the Boss" image. You name it, the movie has it: Alyssa nude? Check. Sex Scenes? Check. Orgy Scene? Check. And that leaves what we're interested here: girl-girl kissing? Check and check. Two very hot scenes, both with Charlotte Lewis.

Mila Kunis (Lily) and Natalie Portman (Nina) in "Black Swan". Nina is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily, who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

A really amazing movie worth watching, with Mila and Natalie lighting up the screen with their kissing. One of my top 5 movies.

Jennifer Tilly ("Violet") and Gina Gershon ("Corky") in the 1996 movie "Bound". Corky, a lesbian ex con hired to work in an apartment as a plumber, meets neighbors Caesar, who launders money for the Mafia, and his girlfriend Violet. The two women have a love affair and decide to steal $2,000,000 that Caesar has in custody before he gives them back to Mafia boss Gino Marzone. Caesar is set up by the two scheming women as a scapegoat but things start to go wrong when he reacts in an unexpected way.

If you haven't explored international/European movies, they are a source of many great movies and genres, often rivaling the best that Hollywood can offer, and certainly usually better than the dreck that comes out from the US. This isn't a blockbuster, but offers great fap... errrr, visual stimulation. 2010's "Room in Rome" stars Elena Anaya (Alba) and Natasha Yarovenko (Natasha). A young Russian woman named Natasha is soon to be married and is on holiday in Rome where she meets Alba. She accompanies Alba to her hotel room as a curious acquaintance and stays as a growing friend. In this room in Rome, the two women come to know one another intimately over the course of the night, and explore and discover themselves along the way. Only the break of day threatens to break their newly forged bond.

Denise Richards (Kelly Van Ryan) and Neve Campbell (Suzie Toller) in 1998's "Wild Things". In south Florida, a high school counselor is accused of rape by a manipulative rich girl and her trailer trash classmate. The cop on the case begins to suspect a conspiracy and dives into an elaborate and devious web of greed and betrayal to find the truth.

I can't say Denise is a great or even good, actress. IMHO, she can be rather wooden in some movies (e.g. as Christmas Jones in "The World Is Not Enough"), miscast in others (e.g. as Carmen Ibanez in "Starship Troopers") or she's just downright annoying in pretty much everything else she's done. But damn, she has a fine body, and she and Neve definitely make this movie light up. The pool kissing scene is classic!

The only downer with the scene is that Neve Campbell, unfortunately, exerted her no nudity clause. So, we were not able to get Denise/Neve booby mashing action. As you can see, only Denise is up to the task of showing us her assets.



Unfortunately, have not yet found a good video source of the clip yet (i.e. a source that doesn't overly spam you while you're watching). So, you get an GIF that I found.

Finally, we present Salma Hayek ("Frida Kahlo") and Ashley Judd ("Tina Modotti") in "Frida" (2002)

"Frida" chronicles the life Frida Kahlo shared unflinchingly and openly with Diego Rivera, as the young couple took the art world by storm. From her complex and enduring relationship with her mentor and husband to her illicit and controversial affair with Leon Trotsky, to her provocative and romantic entanglements with women, Frida Kahlo lived a bold and uncompromising life as a political, artistic, and sexual revolutionary.

Aside from the great kiss, you also get to enjoy a lovely tango scene.
