Phoebe Cates (actress) - Appreciation Thread

IMDb: Phoebe Belle Cates was born on July 16, 1963 in New York City, New York, and raised there. She is the daughter of Lily and Joseph Cates, who was a Broadway producer and television pioneer. Her uncle was director/producer Gilbert Cates. Phoebe is of Chinese-Filipino (from her maternal grandfather) and Russian Jewish descent. Cates made her motion picture debut as Sarah in Paradise (1982) in the same year she starred as Jennifer Jason Leigh's "experienced" confidante in Amy Heckerling's acclaimed Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Cates then landed the role of "Christine Ramsey" in Private School (1983), then co-starred in the innovative Gremlins (1984).

Pretty much any guy who was a teen or young adult in the 80s had an interest, crush, and fappening interest in Phoebe Cates. Back then, though, there was no on-demand Internet access to pics and vids, and certainly the paparazzi were not as intrusive.



Fortunately for us lads, Phoebe made a couple nice movies in 1982 that showcased her assets on the big screen. You don't need to know the plots of the movies; they're irrelevant. You watched the movies to see Phoebe naked.
