Approved Image Hosting discussion...

We have a topic in announcements that outlines the approved image hosts - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=467

We are now going to start removing links to images that are not on an approved host. If you feel a host should be added, so you should post that here. We will NOT be adding hosts that are nothing but link-for-pay or click-for-pay sites. We want shared content, not spammers of pics we can find anywhere and everywhere.

If your post is edited to remove content, do NOT repost the content on an unapproved host. Doing so may result in a warning, ban from the site, or both.

Any questions, feel free to post here as well.

I'm going to go ahead and throw out http://image-bugs.com/ as a potential approved host. Anyone have any negative opinions on it? Positive?

Well i use imgcandy there have been around for some time and is a trusted place.

Yes we earn some $ for posting using that but in every post i do i allways put a download pack option to avoid the people download all by clicking each one.

I say its easyer and while we dig news for all readers to enjoy we can earn something at least for the coffee :)

It's all or nothing, IMO, when it comes to pay for click. And obviously I vote allowing nothing.

If your only reason is to post another site and generate traffic, you aren't contributing to this community, only trying to divert traffic to your community. If you can't be bothered to post because it won't make you money...I'd rather not have to wade through your posts anyway. (again, this is my opinion as a user, not as a site moderator).

Notice that we have not blocked users from posting other site URLs, but all images have to be posted to an approved image host. Not only do pay for click ones encourage spamming and reposts of old stuff, they also are havens for excessive ads. Something I'm sure we all can agree suck. A large percentage of posts I've already edited had dead links already as well...something else that is quite common with pay for click sites.

I also agree with pay-for-clicks. They are absolutely out.

We share the same opinion. We want people to come here. We also want people to come here because they know it's a trustworthy quality repository of fap material, not crap, spam or redirects.

Personally, I think with *7* approved hosting sites already, the people who want to positively contribute to this site have enough options.

I'll just throw this out here..... one person, JUST ONE, has an approved image host that's not on the list. That person was audax. I see that those links have been removed now. Probably dead. Any other hosting sites must be approved, otherwise, they'll be removed. No questions asked.
