The Fappening - Now a community!

As you know friends there is a vote race going on the forum about update. I really agree there is need for a change but have doubts and concerns. I wrote an answer on the vote page but it needs to be approved but unfortunately still it didn't although i pmed all the admins about it. I think they are very busy on creative part of the forum upgrade nowadays and unluckily they didn't notice it.

By this post i don't intend to irreverence. Just express my doubt and concern so that maybe you agree or have other thoughts to share.

As a matter of fact Fappening almost come to the end. Most of the stuff is shared and so few left to come surface and it will take quite a long time. Just because of the heat of the fappening most of the celebs decided to delete these sort of stuff they have or make more strict provisions against likely situations. Not only celebs did this also service providers taking steps. As an example most known 3 cloud service and storage providers applied to my company for external auditing by pentests. For those don't know what a pentest is; it's the short form of penatration test and it's an attack on a computer or network system with the intention of finding security weaknesses. So as you'll notice more leaks will take more time then we think to show up. In this sense it is a must to update the forum to keep it alive and hot.

About the update, i see members mostly cared what a random drops is or what's it gonna be like. As i said update is a must but one point is missed. By this update (which Ghost suggested) adding random drops surely be joyfull but it can be pain in the ass also. Here at this point all we must disguss whether this forum gonna be an ordinary porn forum (that there's tons of it on the net) or it'll keep it's quality. By these random drops anyone of us can share any kind of amateur porn stuff as leaks of non famous and in a short term forum can be filled with lewd porn movies, pics, etc.

In short we must disguss
- What kind of things will be shared as random drops.
- Shall we create our own porn forum (and is there a need for it) or keep it as it used to be.
- What will the sections be?
- If we have this update what kind of new rules we should apply for it to keep the quality.(In my massege i suggested approbation of posts for example.)

So let's hear you friends. Any ideas, suggestions? What's it gonna be?

Believe me, I don't disagree that there might be new rules. In fact, if a subforum specifically for random pics was to be introduced, there'll be a set of rules in place just for that forum. No doubt I'll even add a forum moderator or two. But as it stands, this is a community based on leaks. The Fappening is all about leaked pics. If this were just a regular old porn forum, there would be naked women of all shapes and sizes all over the place. But that's not what we do. I believe you're unsure what a Random Drop is, in that case. It's defined as a picture of a person, be it male or female, that has a nude picture of themselves that wasn't intended for the entire internet to see.It's a leaked photo. It's that pic of your girlfriend that was taken from your phone that you promised her you wouldn't share ever. It's the Fappening.

We make this community what we want it to be, ladies and gentlemen. The Fappening is leaking pics. Pics will never stop being leaked. They may not be celebrities, but they're still "fappening". The Fappening is our community. It's in our blood. We don't care about pentests, or where the pics com from. We care that they're there.

We ARE The Fappening. And we will never die.

Yes my concern is beginning with this. It's all about leaked pics and as to me it must stay that way.

And I'm not unsure about it.

I'm saying that this can be taken wrong so easily. Because of it we must talk what will it be, what and how it'll be shared. There's a very thin line between our quality and to be twisted to a porn forum in this case. This is what i bother. Anyone can share a damn video saying while i'm xxxing my neighbor, or hidden cam pics from toilets, etc. naming them as leaks and defend it by saying no he/she didn't know /want it...So on, you can count hundreds more, can't you? Hereby I say more strict rules, more definitions. this is why i'm bidding approbation of posts so we can prevent wicked stuff to be shared. Thats all mate. I'm not trying to manipulate the subject just warning.

Well considering all the recent posts in the Leak section and the slow activity on it i agree we have to do something to keep things going. And i've always trust LilFapperMan judgement and he never let us down so, once again, i'm with you man. Let´s do this Random Drop thing, update the forum and shake thing up!

One question though, you say Random Drops as to be a leak of someone right? So ins't the topic "Pics of Instagram girls" random drops? (I mean yeah they weren't actually leak per se but, you get my point).

Yes Groot i totally agree with you. For that i cast my vote as YES.

All I say there is a danger ahead! As you can see i've never wrote anything like a spam, tried to help and share. With this hence i'm just showing the alert sign in same manner.

I honestly don't consider those "Random Drops". Look at the emotion behind the pics. These Instagram girls meant for people all over the internet to view those pics. As you said, "they weren't actually leaked". This is a leaking community. Not some random porn site. If anything, the Instagram girls need to be moved to "Off-Topic", since they are indeed off-topic. That's why a lot of cleanup needs to be done.

I've thought about the issues at hand. I'm considering everyone here for forum moderator status. I've thought about rules and regulations. Nothing is being left out when I think about things. I promise there isn't anything to fear when it comes to this update.

This update isn't just about keeping the Fappening alive. It's about us, as a whole. It's giving us all somewhere to go with our leaks. It's who we are. We can either change with the times, keep up with everyone else, or we can fail and fall. I prefer us to continue with legitimate leaks. They may not be celebrities, but they're still leaks.

OT: Honestly, I'm positive everything will be fine. The worst case scenario is the DMCA's but even those are easily overcome.

To be perfectly honest, I'd be just fine with a Random Drops section with tight rules but also a subforum to post "finds" of even women or men that DO want their pics on the internet. I don't go to 100s of sites look at amateurs. I go to a few though. Sometimes I think people were would appreciate some of the pics I find that aren't everywhere on the internet. I know there are 100s of attention wanting people posting just to get exposure (no pun intended) but there are also those that figure their pic will end up on the internet for only a few people.

A good example is pics on Ph0t0bucket in private albums. I'm a former fuskerer so have a bevy of these pics. They aren't really leaks...but not a whole lot of people have seen them either. I don't really share them anywhere else...but why not here?

That's really my only contribution on the topic.

If Fapper/root decide to use my structure, it won't just be random drops. It will be any amateur content

Well, actually..... If you look at the Announcement about what a Random Drop is IMO, it wouldn't be just amateur content. And the way I looked at your structure was more of the leaking community, not just some chick somebody found on the interwebz. As I said, this is a community of leaks. If we look at your "Amateur" subforum, combined with what we do here, I'd think it would be more amateur content that's geared toward "oops, I didn't mean for that to go all over the web". I promise you, if this is voted in (and as of this writing, there are only nine "yes" votes ), I'll be the first to post a few pics of a couple chicks I've been with that never meant for my pics to be released. I've got 5 in mind right now, actually. Only a couple pics of each, and they'll definitely be leaks. Censored for identity, all over 18 as of the image.

That's my Random Drops. Anyone else want to ante up? Cause unless there's at least 40 votes out of over 1500 members, I won't change anything. And there's less than a day left to vote.

Oh, okay. I understand what you mean now. I suppose I was just thinking of making it a full on porn forum(that still focuses on leaks as the main subject) rather than just leaks because the actvity is very low and I figured this would make it higher. But it's probably best to stay true to what this forum is, which is a leak forum. Perhaps the activity won't come any time soon but when it does it will be glorious. By activity I don't mean website activity, I mean forum activity. Just to be clear

So would that include pics from my example from ph0t0bucket? If it's in a private bucket/album, they really didn't expect it to be web wide, IMO. Just trying to clarify where that "line" is.

Personally, I won't post pics that can easily be traced back to just me because they were sent to just me (or a handful of people). Many others will, and as an internet user, I'm grateful to them, but I won't be among them.

Looks like this will all be for naught anyway, since I very much doubt we'll get 40 votes in the poll. There are really only what, 20, of what I would consider active users on this site so far. We can't even get those ones to vote, much less double that. Might I suggest that polls have the word "POLL" somewhere in the topic title? Might attract more attention. People that pop in and pop out might not read a topic titled "Updating the forums" but might if it mentioned a poll is contained within. Just my $.02.

Well, I wouldn't ask anybody to drop day 0 pics. That's the best way for someone to track you. All mine are over a year old, so I'm not too worried about it.

Yeah, you're definitely right about adding POLL to the topic subject. I changed it, so maybe we'll see some more votes. I'm also extending it by another 2 days because of my oversight. Maybe now we'll see something.

This is what my concern is about. Although Ghost is one of the mods and we truly appreciated his efforts, helping suggestions (for Ghost: Please, please, please don't be offended, it's the point what i'm talking about and your comment is an exact example so i mantioned) can easily misunderstand the point. Not his fault or not blaming as i said before:

No worries, man. If you disagree with me in any way, I'm more than happy to hear what you have to say about it as long as you're kind and respectful. I can totally understand your concerns about this certain subject. Honestly, I just don't want to see the forums die. That's why I thought a change similar to what I suggested would be good. If people would prefer to keep things how they are now and keep it a small, close knit community, that's more than fine. It's honestly whatever the people want. I'm just here to help
