Do you think the hackers are using Tor?

I have a theory that the hackers are operating from the Tor network to hide their identities and locations. What do other people on here think?

Man do you really think hackers use tor network? Crap... Dude there are billion ways of hiding inc. tor but do not think they use it as you think. They mostly use it for evolved malware and fake footsteps to follow. Unless they're teenagers looking for some excitement trying named to be hackers but just lamers they use tor. do not think that onion router is a safe passage to net as you think. Obviously it's one of the most overwatched or spyed on. Although fappening seems like a lamer job it's not exactly. In most opinions it's just try of some hackers to name themselves as arbiter competent bodies in hacker community or trying to make money. And for obvious reasons hakcers mostly do not suppose to use tor network. Some middle-eastern lamers naming themselves as hackers (ex. cyberwarriors, ayyildiz from turkey, ncph from china, SEA from Syria, milworm from india) used this network to name themselves but not taken seriosuly.
